Mission Statement

The AdoptaPlatoon Soldier Support Effort™ founded in 1998 is a nonprofit 501C-3 organization managed nationwide by volunteer mothers to ensure that deployed United States Service members in all branches of the military are not forgotten by providing needed mail support and to promote patriotism in our schools and communities.  To provide a better deployment quality of life, lift morale, and assist military families, the AAP created projects that meet the need of military requests, established special projects for holidays, and assigns individual morale lifting mail support to service members of all branches of the U.S. military serving their Nation around the world.

For the protection and safety of our troops, participation in the soldier AAP mail support program and or any on-going or seasonal support campaigns is strictly prohibited without AAP authority and permission.

Participation in the troop AAP mail support program and or any on-going or seasonal support campaigns is strictly prohibited without AAP authority and permission.  The unauthorized use or distribution of all AAP created project names such as Operation Crayon™ or Operation Holiday Eagle™ is strictly prohibited.  All information contained in communications sent to selected and verified supporters by the AdoptaPlatoon via email or ground mail concerning troop support is confidential and privileged and is to be used solely within the guidelines outlined and used only with AAP authorization.

Any unauthorized review, use, disclosure or distribution of AdoptaPlatoon Soldier Support Effort™ projects, campaign names and official website are strictly prohibited.
